Infinito Mare
A symbol of care for our waters
Infinito Mare was born where different forms of knowledge, people, and a deep connection to water came together.
Founded by Bruno Libardoni, Luciana Batista, Daniel Tremmel, and Jana Del Favero, we are a Brazilian startup developing solutions to regenerate aquatic ecosystems and deepen our understanding of them.
We work at the intersection of science, design, culture, and territory, driven by the belief that caring for water means caring for the climate, for life, and for the future of our cities.
Water holds memory. It sustains systems. It connects all living things.
To listen to water, understand it, and help regenerate it
is one of the commitments of our time.

The people behind Infinito Mare

Different forms of knowledge, backgrounds, and perspectives come together in a multidisciplinary team united by a shared commitment to regenerating our waters.

BRUNO LIBARDONI
Founder & CEO
Inventor of the Caravela and founder of Infinito Mare, Bruno sees nature as a living system,
learning from its rhythms and processes.
This perspective led him to develop the Caravela. As a nature-based technology that places water at the heart of climate action, urban resilience, and ecological regeneration.
Bruno believes that innovation begins by listening to nature and giving it a central role in the solutions we create.
LUCIANA BATISTA
Co-founder | Strategy, Operations & Impact
Co-founder of Infinito Mare, Luciana leads the company’s strategy, operations, and impact communications.
With a deep awareness of territories and the people who inhabit them, she translates science into accessible narratives, connecting technical knowledge, culture, and water regeneration to the everyday life of cities and communities.
Her work strengthens partnerships, expands dialogue across different audiences, and turns environmental impact into a shared experience.

DANIEL TREMMEL
Co-founder of Infinito Mare, Daniel works at the intersection of technology, operations, and science.
Drawing on environmental data, emerging research, and insights from the field, he turns observation into continuous evolution.
His work helps keep the Caravela at the forefront of scientific development, expanding its ability to generate consistent impact across the different territories where it operates.
Co-founder & Head of Product and Ecological Intelligence
THATIANNE VIEIRA
Scientific Partnerships Coordinator
Thati leads scientific collaboration at Infinito Mare, connecting researchers, universities, and research institutions across the different territories where we work.
Her work strengthens partnerships, brings different fields of knowledge together, and turns the questions that emerge from the water into new possibilities for research, validation, and learning.

MATHEUS LIBARDONI
Matheus coordinates Infinito Mare’s field operations, overseeing installations, sampling, and the day-to-day operation of the Caravelas across different territories.
His work connects planning with practice, ensuring that each operation is carefully managed and that the processes unfolding in the water are continuously observed.
Field Operations Coordinator
GUILHERME KENZO
Brand & Visual Design
Guilherme shapes the visual language of Infinito Mare.
As a designer, he creates visual systems that make the Caravela’s data, science, and impact across territories visible and accessible.
His work transforms complex information into a sensitive and engaging visual language, strengthening the connection between science, people, and the care of water.

LETÍCIA MENDES
Business Development
Letícia leads business development at Infinito Mare.
Her work connects environmental impact with viable business models,
turning regenerative solutions into scalable projects that create value for cities, companies, and territories.
How we make decisions
We believe meaningful impact requires
responsibility, transparency, and a commitment to the common good.
Our decisions are never based on isolated criteria.
They are shaped through dialogue with science,
territories, and independent partners, and guided by global frameworks such as the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
We bring together different forms of knowledge —
science, culture, territory, and impact — to understand each context and guide the choices we make.
Because every body of water is different.
And every decision must respect the territory, its relationships, and the rhythms of nature.

Our theory of change
We believe water regeneration begins with
a continuous presence in each territory.
By operating every day in aquatic environments, the Caravela supports natural ecological processes, generates data, builds knowledge, and brings people closer to water.
These learnings strengthen decision-making
and help build a new culture of care.
Because changing our relationship with water
is just as important as transforming
its environmental conditions.
PRESENCE → ECOLOGICAL PROCESSES → DATA → DECISIONS → A CULTURE OF CARE
Our governance is guided by values that bring together science, ethics, territory, and a long-term commitment to water.
Nossa governança é guiada por valores
que equilibram ciência, ética, território
e compromisso de longo prazo com a água.
Nossa teoria da mudança
OUR PRINCIPALS
A FORMA COMO
ESCOLHEMOS AGIR
Ciência, natureza, território e cuidado não estão apenas no que fazemos.
Orientam como fazemos.
Seis princípios traduzem essa escolha em prática:
nas decisões, nas relações e em cada território onde atuamos.
Nature is
the true technology
01
Before we design, we listen.
Nature teaches us how to regenerate, restore balance, and sustain life — at the rhythm of the water.
Collaboration builds ecosystems
Regeneration happens through connection.
We value the diversity of people, knowledge, and experiences as a collective force for lasting impact.
05
Care is an everyday practice
Care is more than words.
It is continuous presence,
attention to natural cycles,
and a genuine commitment
to the systems that sustain life.
02
Impact that lasts
We pursue tangible transformation, guided by ecosystem benefits and validated over time — at nature’s own pace.
Not through isolated gestures or empty promises.
06
Science as a way of listening to nature
03
Science is our foundation and also a way of listening.
We observe data, processes, and cycles
to understand, learn, and help regenerate our waters.
Territory is living memory
04
All water bodies carries stories, ancestral knowledge, and human culture. We work with respect for local contexts, and the memory held within each territory.
OUR VISION FOR THE FUTURE
THE FUTURE BEGINS
WHEN THE WATER RETURNS
TO THE HEART
OF OUR CITIES
We imagine a future where rivers, lakes, bays, and reservoirs are no longer seen as mere landscape, but recognized as living infrastructure — capable of supporting biodiversity, climate resilience, knowledge, and collective well-being.
BUT WE BELIEVE EVEN MORE
IN THE POWER OF A NETWORK.
We believe one Caravela can help set a process of regeneration in motion. Hundreds of Caravelas, across different territories, can create a new layer of ecological intelligence.
Every operation generates data.
Every territory builds knowledge.
Every cycle reveals something new about our waters.
At the same time, what nature produces can become the beginning of new cycles of value.
FROM BIOMASS,
NEW CYCLES EMERGE.
Circular economy, biofertilizers, regenerative materials, and new bio-based solutions.
Our goal is to help build cities that do more than reduce their impact
CITIES THAT ACTIVELY REGENERATE
THEIR ECOSYSTEMS.
Because we believe the future of cities
is inseparable from
THE FUTURE OF WATER.
